We're pleased to announce that we're being listed as an affiliate partner in the Eastern Co-location (CLC) center of the EIT to support their recently announced MOBiLus Consortium.
The overall goal of the project is to improve access to mobility and increase the attractiveness of cities where the initiative has been rolled out. The official motto of the project is: "Mobility for Liveable Urban Spaces" is about moving people, connect communities, serving businesses, and re-imagining public spaces."
The project is exciting and ties in well with the SpinLab's affiliation to the Smart Infrastructure Hub, namely the theme of Smart City.
The project will be conducted over the next seven years, with a financial volume of 1.6 billion Euro. Other key cities in Europe, such as Barcelona and Prague, are included in the intuitive, as well as strong partnerships from entities such as SEAT, University College London, Skoda, E-ON, BMW Group, and other key business and educational facilities throughout the continent.
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) drives innovation in Europe by supporting entrepreneurs, innovators, and students across Europe to turn their best ideas into reality. The accomplish this via training new generations of entrepreneurs, developing innovative products and services, and explicitly supporting startups and scale ups.
