Vacant Positions
All positions advertised are currently vacant. Unfortunately, we cannot store your data in a way that allows you to use it for two applications. For two applications, you will need to fill out the online form twice.
Partnership in the Context of a Dual Study Program ("Praxispartnerschaft")
Up to now, we have not offered support for dual students as a "Praxispartner." However, this may change in the future. As soon as any changes occur, we will update the FAQ.
Application Process Overview
We carefully review each application, and this process may take some time, particularly if we receive numerous applications for a single position. However, you are always welcome to contact us if you have any questions regarding the status of your application or the application process.
End of Review Process
At the conclusion of the review process, you will either receive an invitation for an interview or a rejection.
Permanent Employees
The initial interview is conducted digitally and typically lasts around one hour. It's an informal opportunity for us to get to know you better, discuss your motivations and background, and align our expectations. We'll inform you of our decision within about a week.
If we see potential for a mutually beneficial working relationship, you'll be invited to a second interview, during which we'll assess your professional suitability. You'll also work on a case study as part of this interview.
If you successfully complete this stage, we'll invite you to join the team for a lunch meeting in the following days to meet everyone.
Working Students/Interns
During the interview, we'll inquire about your motivations, assess your technical knowledge, and align our expectations. Following the interview, there are three possible outcomes: you may receive a direct rejection, an offer for a working student/intern position within a few weeks, or in some cases, we may ask you to tackle a case study. You'll receive feedback from the team, and if your results meet our expectations, you'll receive an offer from us shortly thereafter.
For your application, we require a cover letter, a resume, and relevant certificates/references. You can send us the materials in German as well as in English.
Cover letter
In your cover letter, tell us on one page what you are passionate about, what drives you, and where you would like to go professionally. Link this information to the requirements of the job description and show us what sets you apart from other applicants. An individual focus on SpinLab draws the focus on you and shows us that you are really motivated. Overall, the motto is - as much as necessary, but as little as possible.
Resume
In your resume, make sure to list only the most important and meaningful career stages. For example, if you have already gained relevant practical experience, you should place more emphasis on this and less on your education.
We leave it up to you to decide whether to include a photo. Before you send your application, we recommend that you check your personal data, especially your phone number and your e-mail, to make sure they are up-to-date and complete.
Certificates
In addition to school and professional certificates, we ask you to send us any references of relevant activities. If you have not yet completed your studies, please attach an overview of your grades.
Of course, we treat your personal data confidentially. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties and your data will only be used for the application process.
