Cooperation instead of isolation in the banking world

capital.de, October 6th, 2016. Dirk Elsner, DZ Bank Senior Manager Innovation and Digitalisation, reports a fundamental paradigm shift in the financial sector concerning its openness for innovation. In his Article on the Capital Magazin from Oct. the 6^th he refers to a growing cooperation of banks and incubators or accelerators for startups but also to a growing Innovation Culture within the established banking industry itself. “Spinlab – The HHL Accelerator” is supported by the DZ Bank, the Deutsche Bank will prospectively cooperate with “Axel Springer Plug and Play”, just to name two examples. Besides many banks set up their own accelerator like “Main Incubator” of the Commerzbank or the “Innovation-Lab” of the DZ Bank.
