SpinLab, one of the top 3 accelerators in Germany, is once again opening its application phase for start-ups. Startups can apply for the 11th grade until September 22, 2020. Coaching, co-working space, contacts to a broad network, newest technologies and free funding are available for new startups in the six-month scholarship.
We are looking for startups from the fields of e-health, smart city and energy as well as cross-sectional technologies that are related to these topics and are in the pre-seed, seed or growth phase. These focus topics were established with the strategic partners VNG, Leipziger Gruppe and AOK Plus as well as other partner companies within the Smart Infrastructure Hub. A relocation to Leipzig is not necessary – however, selective attendance is recommended in order to benefit from the entire programme. The corresponding expenses are borne by SpinLab.
In addition to contacts to investors, several pitch opportunities, such as at the Investor's Day, and support from strong partners such as AOK PLUS, Porsche, VNG and many other established companies from the respective sectors, selected start-ups can receive support of up to €15,000. A coworking workspace in the old cotton spinning mill, a well-known art and culture venue in Leipzig, will also be made available.
The new class is scheduled to start on 03.01.2021 and will be offered in a hybrid form - with a mix of face-to-face workshops, which will also be offered digitally, a digital learning and coaching platform, training sessions with experts from the respective industry and personal coaches, the start-ups will be made "investment-ready". Through the in-house VC fund "Smart Infrastructure Ventures", the start-ups can also obtain tips directly from the investors and be co-financed up to 200,000 euros in the next financing round.
