Early this month, we proudly announced that the SpinLab was named one of the top three startup accelerators in Germany in a formal study conducted by the Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln (RFH). Astonishingly enough, this news helped us gain a new parter, Tilia.
How success can be nurtured from a partner company such as Tilia
It seems that not only our startups themselves will benefit from this, but more and more established companies have begun to use SpinLab as a kind of shared startup hub. They use SpinLab to identify interesting and relevant startups for cooperations, implement concrete pilot projects, learn a lot about agile ways of working, and optimize their own innovation management processes. Tilia is an innovative company that develops, plans and implements energy and environmental projects in over 20 countries worldwide, most recently in Vietnam. With more than 100 employees and its founding in 2009, you can still consider the now medium-sized company a startup. Tilia now wants to pass on this expertise and network to young founders and constantly come to know new technologies and possibilities.
Founder and CEO Christophe Hug says: "Tilia has been able to create value in many places and improve the infrastructure for millions of people over the last few years, and we need to stay focused on innovative solutions." For a mid-sized company like us, It's simply an effective and cost efficient way to get to know new innovations from startups and possibly integrate them into upcoming projects. " The first concrete cooperations are already planned, says Hug.
We're excited to have Tilia onboard as a partner, and look forward to continued cooperations between us, them, and our startup community.
