Exit for SpinLab alumni PipePredict

Preventio, which merged last year with SpinLab alumni PipePredict has been acquired by Diehl Metering, a global leader in smart metering solutions. This milestone represents the second exit for the Smart Infrastructure Ventures portfolio—following mementor by ResMed, another SpinLab success story.

PipePredict, is known for its advanced solutions in pipeline monitoring and leak detection and joined forces with Preventio in 2023.

This investment is set to enhance Diehl Metering's capabilities in real-time leak detection and complement its Analytics & Services portfolio. PREVENTIO's AI technology analyzes historical and current data to detect leaks and anomalies in the water and heat supply network. This will complement Diehl Metering's existing software products, Water Loss Management and Energy Forecast Management, providing customers with even more robust tools to manage their resources efficiently.
