Meeting Rooms in Leipzig

Jun 28, 2024 2:24:43 PM

Are you tired of the monotony of working from home or bland meeting rooms? Come to SpinLab! We have free office space available in our co-working area and offer flexible desk options. At SpinLab in the west of Leipzig, you'll find a supportive community of startups, creatives and business experts, a fully equipped infrastructure, and a bunch of cool meeting rooms. These rooms are available not only to our tenants but also to external groups for workshops or other gatherings.

Last year, our teams showcased their creativity and craftsmanship by redesigning the meeting rooms to reflect Leipzig's twin cities. The result are nine unique rooms (By clicking on the photo you can slide to the right to see more photos of the room.)

Meeting Room Addis Abeba

Step into our redesigned meeting room, paying homage to Addis Abeba meaning "New Flower”. The space is adorned in sunny yellows, earthy greens, and light wood accents. Hanging plants and dried flowers add a touch of vibrancy, complemented by beautifully framed pictures of Ethiopia's capital. The highlight? The floor boasts a cool floral pattern in yellow and blue. Our room is a chill spot where ideas flow freely, echoing the energy of Addis Ababa's bustling streets. Show some love to our redesign and leave your mark in our guestbook after your visit.

Meeting Room Bologna

Picture warm terracotta walls that whisper "welcome to Bologna" and furniture that's both chic and chill, reflecting the laid-back Italian lifestyle. Gather around the central wooden table for some serious brainstorming, surrounded by a funky mix of art, showcasing Bologna's past and present. Ever wonder where we found all this cool stuff? Well, we scoured flea markets and shops to deck out the space with a cool blend of old-school charm and modern elegance. And those wooden elements? They're not just for looks, they're your secret weapon against distractions, helping you stay focused and in the zone.

Meeting Room Frankfurt am Main

Step into our Frankfurt-themed room. Globally recognized as an aviation hub, our Frankfurt-themed room features airplane lounge chairs with extra legroom this time. Step in the sustainably crafted space, furnished with upcycled chairs, providing adequate space for laptops and refreshments. Equipped with a screen for presentations and a whiteboard for brainstorming, this room fosters creativity and clarity. Whether you're charting new paths or fortifying strategies, our Frankfurt-themed room provides the perfect setting for productive discussions and forward-thinking solutions.

Meeting Area Hannover

Our kitchen concept draws its inspiration from our second location, RootCamp in Hannover. Rootcamp, being an innovation hub for AgTech and Bioeconomy, sparked our desire to weave this agricultural essence into our kitchen's design. We envisioned the kitchen not just as a place for cooking and eating but as a spot for relaxation and well-being. By integrating natural elements, we aimed to create an atmosphere that invites people to unwind and find peace. It has become a space where individuals love to spend time, disconnect from the hustle and bustle.

Meeting Room Ho Chi Minh City

Step into a space that combines vibrant Vietnamese culture with modern comfort. A warm red accent wall, colorful lanterns, and cozy wooden furniture around a large table set the stage for collaboration and creativity. An interactive photo wall features memories from trips to Vietnam, s of the SpinLab community. The room also highlights the connection between the two cities and the history of Vietnamese life in East Germany through informative posters. The designers have even created a Vietnam Food Guide to help you discover the best Vietnamese cuisine in Leipzig. Many of the decorations brought back from Vietnam, add a touch of authenticity and charm to the space.

Meeting Room Houston

Ask yourself - what would work be like, if there was no place for relaxation? And where better to relax than in the vastness of the universe? That's why we took Houston as our launchpad to space, for some peace of mind. Recreate in a co-creational atmosphere - shut the door and free your thoughts for a couple of minutes, lay down in space and lean back in zero gravity. And once you get out, we promise you'll be standing with both feet on the ground again!

Meeting Room Krakow

In the Krakow room, references are made not only to the historic town itself but also to the surrounding mountainous, wooded nature reserves. Styled like a hunting room, artificial antlers and gold-framed paintings with forest and hunting motifs characterize the space. There are also two paintings of Krakow's landmarks, such as the cathedral, the Cloth Hall, and Wawel Castle. Most of the paintings and furniture are from flea markets; some have been restored and painted by the owners themselves (paint-by-numbers) or purchased locally during a visit to Krakow. This not only ensures greater sustainability but also allows for a very low-cost setup.

Meeting Room Nanjing

In this designed room, the rich cultural elements of Nanjing come together in a harmonious blend of bamboo poles and red Chinese fabrics. The wooden elements provide zen moments, while the red accents infuse the space with energy and focus. The concise round and angular shapes give the room a balanced structure and visual variety. So, come in, sit down and let yourself be enchanted by this Nanjing magic - peace and Ramba-Zamba in one room!

Meeting Room Thessaloniki

Friendly, charming and with a hint of mystery as well as a wealth of cultural attractions, the second-largest city in Greece is located in the northern part of the country. Thessaloniki has been a partner city of Leipzig since 1984. In honor of this long-lasting relationship we redesigned the room using the iconic Greek color pattern of white and blue, added some Greek philosophical content by introducing ᎻᎾO∑ (ethos) & XAO∑ (chaos) and rounded off the redesign with a classical statue of Nike, the goddess of victory and namesake for Thessaloniki. Even though the design is classical, all purchases for the room are new and chosen to ensure a Greek-themed room with a clean layout for focused work.
